| A | Water-repellent skiwear (pants, jacket, gloves, etc.) is strongly recommmended. Please see the Slope & Sail Skier Information Sheet for more details. top |

| Q | How many days a week do you send a bus to Wintergreen? |
| A | We schedule daytrips 5 days a week during most of the season, usually Wednesday through Sunday. We also schedule buses on certain Mondays and Tuesdays during the season, usually being on or near a holiday or teacher workday. Please see our Daytrip schedule for more information. top |

| A | The bus departs from the Alpine Ski Center located at 6315 Glenwood Avenue at 4:30AM sharp. Please arrive at Alpine by 4:10AM. top |
| Q | What time does the bus leave Chapel Hill to go to Wintergreen? |
| A | The bus departs from the Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse parking lot located at 15-501 and Sage Rd at 5:00AM. Please arrive by 4:45AM. top |

| A | If you are departing from Raleigh, please park behind the
yellow line at the rear of the Alpine Ski Center parking lot.
If you are departing from Chapel Hill, park in the far left corner closest to the highway. Do not park near the bookstore. top |
| Q | What if I am late and miss the bus, can I get a refund? |
| A | There are no refunds for no shows. No exceptions. Please arrive on time. top |
| Q | What is your daytrip cancellation policy? |
| A | Cancellations made 3 or more days prior to your trip date will result in a $5.00 per person cancellation fee. Cancellations or transfers made less than 3 days prior to your trip date will result in a cancellation fee of $45.00 per person (this is the cost of the bus seat). | Q | What happens when we arrive...how do I get my lift ticket and/or equipment rental? |
| A | Upon arrival at Wintergreen, the trip captain will obtain and then distribute lift and equipment rental tickets. top |
| Q | When do I get my rental equipment? |
| A | Wintergreen's rental shop is now paperless. Please pre-register for your Wintergreen rentals online at http://secure.wintergreenresort.com/rentals/StartPage.aspx. Parents must sign the Rental form for children under age 18. Click here for the downloadable rental form for parental signature only. You will be fitted for your rental equipment at the Wintergreen rental shop. top |

| A | No, we do not provide meals so please bring money for food. There are several restaurants located at the resort.
On the return trip, the bus will make a 25-30 minute dinner stop just north of Lynchburg in Madison Heights. There are several fast food restaurants located within walking distance. Please purchase your food and return to the bus as soon as possible. top |
| Q | What time does the bus depart from Wintergreen? |
| A | Your ski day lasts from 9:00AM to 4:30PM. Please return to the bus no later than 4:45PM in order to facilitate a 5:00PM departure. top |
| Q | What time does the bus get back to Raleigh/Chapel Hill? |
| A | The bus normally arrives in Chapel Hill around 9:00-9:15PM and in Raleigh around 9:30-9:45PM. Return times can vary depending on weather and driving conditions. top |
| Q | What is the age requirement to participate in a daytrip? |
| A | There is no age requirement. Please note, that there are also no chaperones. Parents/guardians of participants under the age of 18 who will not be taking the trip with their child need to complete and sign a Permission for Medical Treatment Form and have the child bring the form with them on the day of the trip. top |
| Q | Is there a group discount? |
| A | No, our rates are already discounted as low as they can possibly go. Groups do receive each 21st lift ticket free and their 41st and 42nd bus seats are free. Please see our Group Policies and Procedures for more details. top |
| Q | On a daytrip, what if it rains and I don't want to ski under the conditions? |
| A | This falls under the Wintergreen Weather Policy: If the weather conditions are bad (subject to Wintergreen's interpretation) they will issue a raincheck if your complaint is made to the group sales office no later than noon. top |
